はじめまして! (About me)

I’m Steph, and I just recently moved to Japan to embark on a year long (three semesters) study abroad journey. I used to live and study in New York, but now I study in Tokyo, so a lot of my posts will be about the contrast between these two cities.

I wanted to document all my new and thrilling experiences here, but realistically I am lazy and quickly overwhelmed, so instead I post a short daily list of three things that I learn with every new day. Sometimes I write longer entrees if I feel particularly inspired, and you can check that out on my non-TTL page.

If there is anything written here that is incorrect, misunderstood, or generally problematic– which is completely likely as I am a foreigner observing a new country from an outsider’s perspective, please feel free to contact me about it so I can make corrections. The point of this blog is to learn, so I am always open to clarified information!

Check out my Instagram where you can see photographic evidence of my Japanese adventures.

This is my first blog and I still have no internet where I am living in Saitama, so please be kind and understanding! I hope you enjoy reading my posts.
